Summer memories

Hey everyone, I'm back today with a summer LO for Creative Embellishments.  I just can't believe summer is almost over.  Seems like I always have so many plans but never get them all done.

Here is my fun and colorful LO of my daughter playing with water balloons.

I used the chipboard squares, the time flies frame set, and the chevron panel on my LO.

The wonder of it all

Hey everyone, I'm back today sharing a new LO for The Cut Shoppe.  I went back and dug out some old papers for this LO.  Anyone recognize it?  It's some old Sassafras paper!  I loved this title piece so much I knew I had to use it and had the perfect photo for it!

I also used this cute frame.  I really like to add black to most of my LO's.  I just always feel like they need a little black on them!

Love this heart so much!!!

And of course the title piece that inspired the LO!

Check out these awesome files (and others) in the store!

And finally the winner of the You've been framed cut file from the Cut Shoppe blog hop is Stephanie!  Congrats!!

Happy Hopping with The Cut Shoppe!

Welcome to The Cut Shoppe Blog Hop!  Today the Design Team is sharing layouts created, with several new Cut File sets that are now available in the Shop.  We are kicking off the Hop at The Cut Shoppe Blog, so make sure you start out there, and visit each of the Design Team Member's Blogs.  And what would a Hop be without some fun giveaways!!  Each designer is giving away one cut file on their Blog, to a lucky commenter and one winner will be chosen from The Cut Shoppe Blog to receive a $15 Shopping Spree to the Shop!  The Hop will close at midnight on Sunday, August 17th, and winners will be announced on Thursday, August 21st.  Have fun hopping!

I choose the Straight as an Arrow file for my LO.  I then added some pattern paper from an old MME collection on the back of each arrow to create a multi colored LO!  I also decided to outline each arrow with a black marker to make them stand out more.  I then cut out the Love Today words from the Say Anything cut file.  I cut them in black and made it pretty big because I wanted it to stand out!

My favorite file from The Cut Shoppe is the You've been framed file.  Want a chance to win it?  All you need to do is leave a comment on this post! Here is the file:

Hello smile

Hi everyone,  today I have my first Guest DT post for Epiphany Crafts!!  I was so excited to be chosen as a guest DT for Epiphany Crafts, I own almost all of the tools...I love these things!!

Since this is summer fun week, I decided to use some recent photos of my son playing in the pool.  My son is 12 years old and does not like to get his photo taken (I'm sure most of you with teen boys can relate). Well a few weeks ago he was being very cooperative and even giving me real smiles, not the usual "I have to force a smile for the camera" smile that he usually gives me!  LOL

I hand stitched the circles (which took me forever!!)  From there I embellished with bits and pieces all around the circles.  I used the Round 14 tool, Round 25 tool, and the Chevron tool.

Here are a few close ups:

I really love how versatile these tools are.  You can create any kind of embellishment you can imagine!

My little engineer

Hey everyone, today I have a new LO for Creative Embellishments!  Ever since my son was a baby, he has been taking things apart to see how they work.  This child is so smart!!

Here are a few close ups:

I used the You Rock frame set and the Star Frame set on my LO!  You can find them in the Creative Embellishments store!

Destination Disney

Hi everyone, today I have a Disney LO to share with you! It's been almost 2 years since we went to Disney and this is the first photo I have scrapped of our trip!

I used the On the road cut file for this LO.  I separated the word from the map and made it smaller because I didn't want to cover it up with my photo.

Here are a few close ups:

My girl

Hey everyone, this month at Creative Embellishments we are challenging you to use song lyrics on your LO!  Here is our photo inspiration this month.

This is one of my favorite challenges.  I even found a perfect title piece in the store for this challenge!!

Here are a few closeups.  My favorite part of this LO is the cute little film strip on the photo!  I added a couple hearts to finish the LO.
